::: Shipping Timeline :::

We take pride in being able to ship your order out quickly; because who wants to wait?! Orders typically ship 1-3 days after being placed. You choose your shipping speed when you check out. Please note that USPS will only guarantee delivery dates on Express shipments. 

 

::: Returns & Refunds :::

Due to the timely nature of our products, we request that you contact us within 7 days of receiving your order to discuss your options. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

If there an issue with the item itself, we stand behind our work 100% and will do our absolute best to satisfy you. No refunds offered on personalized items. All refunds are given in the form of store credit.

You are responsible for paying return shipping costs. We recommend using shipping services with a tracking number or purchasing shipping insurance.

 

::: Tracking :::

If tracking on your package has not moved or shown a new scan in a few days, contact us so we can file a claim with USPS. While we cannot be held responsible for delivery delays or lost packages that are beyond our control, we will do what we can to assist in a timely manner. Due to the customized nature of our products, no replacement products will be sent out until USPS concludes it's search and closes the case.

 

If your tracking shows your purchase as delivered and you do not have it, we recommend you contact your local post office directly and immediately to file a claim. While we will do what we can to assist, once the package is marked as "Delivered" USPS requires the recipient to file claim paperwork directly.

 

::: Wash & Care Instructions :::

Our stockings require the same love and care you would show any of your heirloom items. Wash by hand in cold water using gentle detergent. Roll excess water and lay flat to dry.

::: Fabric Samples :::

We do our best to accurately portray fabric colors in our photos, however, as each computer screen is calibrated differently we have no way of guaranteeing what we see is what you see. If the color tone of the fabric is of the utmost importance to you, contact us at hello@hungbythechimney.com to ask about fabric samples.

::: Textiles :::

We'd like to note that we use different materials when making the stockings. Some of the fabric is muslin, some canvas, some minky, some cotton, some woven, some silk, some slub, etc... Different materials mean differing colors. White in one fabric is not always the exact same white in another fabric. Likewise, dye lots differ. So lipstick red on one bolt of fabric can be ever so slightly different than lipstick red on another bolt of fabric.  It's the nature of textiles. We barely notice the difference and it appears the camera doesn't either but some do. If you're one that has a strong eye for color differences, feel free to request fabric samples. We're happy to oblige.
